Cieara Ferguson

Cieara Ferguson graduated from Purdue University in 2024 and studied Visual Arts & Design Education. Cieara is now in her second year of teaching art for middle school students.

Considering her artistic background, Cieara has a love for all things creative expression and a deep love for the Creator of the universe. She enjoys being able to aid her students in discovering their natural ability to create. Scripture reminds us in Genesis 1:27, “So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.” Cieara believes that bearing the image of the Father includes embracing the role of a creator, a calling that lives inside each of us.

In Cieara’s session, participants will explore their artistic side by visually expressing the before and after states of their brain. Participants will be guided through conversations that will encourage reflecting mentally and emotionally. By being mindfully aware and discovering areas of strengths and weaknesses, participants will partner with their minds to express images that accurately tell a story of where they came from and where they want to go. This lesson is rooted in God’s beautiful design for our brains and how they were meant to function. Through this understanding, we will come to appreciate God’s intricate internal design while fully enjoying the intrinsic God given creative abilities revealed externally.
